John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park

 The first undersea park in the U.S., John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park encompasses approximately 70 nautical square miles. The Spiegel Grove Wreck
Distance: 1 mile
The USS Spiegel Grove is a Landing Ship Dock,
which has been sunk to create an artificial reef in Key Largo.
The vessel is 510 feet in length, 84 feet wide. To give a better visual understanding of the immensity of this ship, she is roughly equivalent in length to two football fields.
